The World Cup is the biggest global sporting event in the world, stoking passion from the casual fans and die-hards alike. So when worldwide tequila brand el Jimador tasked us with creating a full program sponsoring both the U.S. and Mexico national teams, we brought that same passion and intensity to the work.
We secured multiple national retail partnerships, engaging consumers as they watched the Cup games at the bar and provided shopper solutions for those watching the excitement at home. We also developed a successful Foursquare campaign that delivered over 15 million impressions for the brand. All told, one-month depletions increased by 33%. Even Tim Howard would be jealous of that performance.
