St. Louis Blues Campaign

The St. Louis Blues are one of our region’s most beloved sports franchises, with passionate fans spread out over a generous radius from the Mississippi River. But it’s difficult for the players to hear and feel that passion through a television screen.

The Blues tasked Boxing Clever with creating a campaign that encouraged fans to make the pilgrimage to the iconic Scottrade Center to see the feverish action up close and personal.

In our first year working with the team (the 2015-2016 season) we emphasized to fans that it was “only home ice if you’re there” with two :30 television spots and a new logo featuring the “Our Town Our Team” slogan (and one more TV spot for the Blues’ big playoff run).

After a successful first year, we helped the Blues ring in their 50th birthday with a whole slew of new TV spots and a new logo commemorating their 50 years of bringing pride to the St. Louis region.

Since we’ve started working with them, the Blues have seen a 14% bump in overall ticket sales revenue, theme night ticket sales are doubling and social posts featuring content we’ve made for the team are getting up into the tens of thousands of views. We’re so excited to see the Blues getting the recognition they deserve, both on and off the ice.
